Boston Commons
Dating back to 1634, Boston Common is the oldest park in the United States. Over the years it has served as a field for grazing livestock and a venue for public hangings. Today, the 50-acre park is home to softball fields, monuments, a bandstand and a pond that’s used for ice-skating in the winter.
